Rancho Olivos is located, just north of Santa Barbara, in California’s beautiful Santa Ynez Valley. For the past ten years we have crafted distinctively fresh Estate Artisan Extra Virgin Olive Oils that enhance the flavors of fine food and contribute to a healthy lifestyle. Rancho Olivos is a true family business. My wife, Shannon, and I run all the day to day operations at the ranch. Our goal is not to just produce outstanding olive oil, but also to share our artisan oils with everyone who appreciates unique, locally grown, handcrafted olive oils and want to enjoy them in their homes. When we moved to California’s Central Coast Wine Region, like many others, we considered planting grapes. We quickly realized that wasn’t going to be for us. Shannon began thinking about raising a crop that would compliment the wonderful Santa Ynez Valley wines. As a life-long food enthusiast and excellent cook, it didn’t take her long to hit on the idea of growing olives and making olive oil.
